Han var en spansk koloni. Den visar 5 horisontella r\u00e4nder: tv\u00e5 bl\u00e5, tv\u00e5 vita och en r\u00f6d. De bl\u00e5 och vita r\u00e4nderna \u00e4r lika p\u00e5 sin egen bredd, medan den r\u00f6da \u00e4r tv\u00e5 g\u00e5nger bredare. Fr\u00e5n ovanf\u00f6r v\u00e4xlingsremsor g\u00e5r i efterf\u00f6ljande sekvens: bl\u00e5, vit, r\u00f6d, vit, bl\u00e5. P\u00e5 v\u00e4nster sida av den r\u00f6da remsan (n\u00e4rmare tr\u00e4det) p\u00e5 versionen av regeringsskylten visar emblemet i Costa Rica. Sju stj\u00e4rnor presenterade p\u00e5 vapensk\u00f6lden \u00e4r sju provinser i Kirgizistan.
